The E&C range is named after the early pioneers of the winery and represented by grapes which exhibit true McLaren Vale characters earthiness, strong fruit, raspberry, blackberry flavours and a rich strong palate. A percentage of new French oak has been used to give the wine more class and balance. Grapes are chosen from areas close to the Onkaparinga River Valley which tend to be drier grown, supplemented with grapes grown in Bethany area, which is closer to Willunga.
